The Best High Bass Home Theater Systems for 2021
Hands down the best high bass home theater system out there…
Bose has been pretty established for years in the home cinema scene with its Acoustimass subwoofers that deliver deep bass. The Bose Lifestyle 600 takes this to a new level, and is hands down the most powerful and bass heavy Bose cinema sound system currently available.
The bass on the Lifestyle 600 is quite simply unbeatable – it goes extremely deep, and engulfs your entire living room with solid deep bass. It can quite literally transform your living room into a cinema with sonic sound effects and great acoustics.
The sound experience is pretty amazing – out of all the home theater systems we have tested, none have come close to the level of bass this system can produce. The cinematic effects are exceptionally clear and detailed, and you get a 3D sound effect with Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS and multi-channel PCM.
The Lifestyle 600 comes with everything you need to get started with a full-fledged home theater system. It comes with a single console, 4 omni-jewel side speakers, center speaker and wireless Acoustimass module with 2 wireless receivers.
The rear speakers and bass module connect to the front module wirelessly which reduces the amount of cabling you need.
Overall, the Bose Lifestyle 600 is an exceptionally good home theater system, and is the ultimate choice for those who want more bass in their home cinema.

The Klipsch Cinema 600’s 10″ subwoofer delivers floor-shattering downward firing bass…
The Klipsch Cinema 600 is a beast on its own. Do not underestimate the fact that this comes as a soundbar and subwoofer combo – it delivers crisp dialogue, expansive sound field and thundering bass.
We have tested a range of other home cinema soundbars with virtual-atmos with 6 or 7 inch subwoofers promising deep bass. Forget about them – the Klipsch Cinema 600 delivers some of the clearest center channel treble and bass from dialogue, and this is obvious and clear without having to turn on the “dialogue” mode.
The sound effects of the Klipsch Cinema 600 feels surreal. It feels like you are listening to a full blown home cinema system (even though it is just the soundbar and subwoofer). The 10 inch subwoofer comes in a large wooden cabinet which does make you literally feel the bass. It also has a separate subwoofer-out RCA jack if you want to add a second powered subwoofer to the system.
The cone on the subwoofer is down-firing, and the cabinet feels very much like a full Klipsch surround system. It has an extreme loud output of 600 watts peak power, and supports HDMI-ARC single cable with a single remote control.
Although the Klipsch Cinema 600 supports 5.1 decoding for virtualized surround sound, it does not decode DTS or Atmos. But don’t let this deter you, the Klipsch Cinema 600 delivers some of the purest sound and deepest bass we’ve ever heard, and is second to none except to the Bose Lifestyle 600 when it comes to pure bass authority.

A full 7.1.4 channel home theater system with Dolby Atmos and dedicated subs…
The Nakamichi Shockwafe Pro not only delivers some of the deepest bass, but is a full 7.1.4 audio channel home theater system with wide spatial sound effects.
The bass on the Shockwafe Pro is magnificently loud and deep. You can literally feel the thump on the floor and the bass permeates the entire room with crystal clear 3D sound effects. It provides 360 degree Dolby Atmos surround sound and duplicates the same experience that you’d get in a cinema.
The main soundbar unit features upgraded sound performance with a 35% wider soundstage than its predecessor. It also has an 8” down-firing wireless subwoofer which delivers tight, room-shaking bass and distributed equally in all directions.
Movies and cinematic effects can be felt with these speakers. The speakers have a strong level of presence and power in the low-end, delivering tight and deep bass that can be felt through the skin. Movie effects are rendered with great spatial imaging.

The Polk Audio MagniFi Max is an upgrade from the Polk MagniFi Mini home theater system and delivers bigger, deeper bass than before. The entire system comes with a powerful 7-driver soundbar with drivers and tweeters that produce exceptionally clear and loud sound performance. There’s also a wireless subwoofer and two wireless speakers which are instantly recognized by the sound bar the moment you power them on.
The bass on this thing is monstrous and powerful. The subwoofer supports an 8” downward firing driver and the bass that the subwoofer produces is deep – it has plenty of depth and more nuance than anything else we’ve heard before.
The wireless surround sound is pretty awesome, with detailed stereo image and expansive surround soundstage – like what you’d expect in a concert or home theater.

A solid 5.1 home theater system that delivers solid sound performance all-round…
The Platin Milan 5.1 home theater system is a pretty solid option for those looking for uncompressed 24-bit 48 kHz dynamic audio quality and deep bass performance. The entire system is designed to save space and blend in with home audio décor for an immersive 360 degree home theater experience.
The sound performance of the Platin Milan system is excellent. The sound performance of the speakers is absolutely mind-blowing – it feels rich, detailed dynamic and spacious. You can also calibrate your sound around a designated sweet spot in the room using the My Zone feature.
The bass on the Platin Milan system is absolutely phenomenal. It hits very hard and delivers tight and punchy bass with very good mid-bass. This means that movies and sound effects sound not just deep – but with plenty of depth. They aren’t as powerful as the Bose Lifestyle 600, but they are still pretty solid for their price point and ease of setup.
We tested everything from the old 5.1 tracks to Dolby Atmos and they all sound great – the dialogue is always clear and the sound feels cinematic.
Overall, the ease of setup and no latency wireless technology makes the Platin Milan 5.1 an attractive option for those who want a “home theater in-a-box” solution.

A really good soundbar with subwoofer combo that supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X
What we liked about the VIZIO Elevate sound bar home theater system is that it simplifies the whole home theater setup with a very cleanly designed central soundbar and wireless subwoofer. Furthermore, it also supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X with cinematic surround sound for a full 5.1.4 surround sound experience.
Let’s talk about the sound performance. Apart from the deep, strong bass that the subwoofer pumps out, the dialogue is crystal clear and crisp. The mid-range sounds clean although the treble can feel rather flat at times.
With that said, the immersive performance of the soundbar with Dolby Atmos is fantastic. The outer sections of the soundbar rotate up and the coverage is very wide and spacious. The up-firing speakers reflects the enveloping sound overhead off the ceiling and creates and enveloping listening experience like what you’d get in a movie theater.
The subwoofer is incredibly powerful and we found ourselves having to adjust it down to a “safer” level while watching movies and TV.
Overall, this is a pretty solid home theater system that delivers crisp sound and great bass. While the treble ranges can sound flat at times, the enveloping sound from the soundbar and up-firing speakers make this sound system one of the few that can deliver true cinematic home theater sound.

The Fluance Elite HD is a home theater system designed for audiophiles who want to listen to quality sound performance. The Elite system is used in Dolby surround and DTS systems to provide a cinematic listening experience. This 7.1 speaker system is also exactly timbre matched with a powerful 10” subwoofer that will deliver some of the most detailed sound with subtle nuances and crisp highs.
The 3-way floor standing towers are built with high-frequency tweeters for dynamic midrange and the dedicated subwoofer features a precision crafted enclosure to supress distortion and provide an accurate sound response.
The side speakers and center channel speakers produce incredible detail with almost no distortion at maximum volume. The dialogue is crystal clear and very well-defined, while the 10” powered subwoofer pumps out some of the deepest and most room-shaking bass you’ll ever hear.

Arguably the most compact 5.1 channel home theater system, the ProCinema 5.1 system doesn’t disappoint…
The Definitive Technology ProCinema is a 5.1 home theater system with a 250 watt powered subwoofer. This home theater system sounds pretty amazing with intensely crisp dialogue, smooth highs and very powerful bass.
The bass is very strong considering the compact size of the subwoofer, and combined with this home theater setup delivers a superb listening experience.
The bass from the center channel speaker is also surprisingly good. It’s equipped with a 1” tweeter, 3.25” mid-woofer and two 3.25” bass radiators for deeper sound reproduction. Movie sound effects are reproduced with great clarity and crispness, and movie dialogues are crystal clear from the center channel speaker.
The surrounds also produce big sound – each satellite has a 1” tweeter, 3.25” BDSS woofer and bass radiator. This helps to emanate sound effects across the entire room for a more cinematic feel.
Setting up this home theater system does require a little bit of wiring and wall mounting, but once that’s done you’re in for a treat with its massive bass and crystal clear sound.
