The Cons. The Logitech Z623s can be slightly bulky which may be an issue if you have a cramped desk. The extension cable on the Z623 is not very long – while its suitable for most desktop applications, don’t expect to stretch the cable out too far from your computer.
Sound Performance

Playing computer games with the Z623s was an out of world body experience – you can really feel the impact of grenade explosions and bomb shells with these speakers full force. Vocal performances were reproduced with distinct clarity, and you get really good sound throughout without any distortion even at close to maximum volumes. After extensive testing, we have no doubt that the Logitech Z623s reproduce the most balanced and incredible sound performance we have ever heard.
Design
The Z623s have a very nice and sleek design that blends in easily into home décor and on desktop tables. We liked the fact that there is a volume and bass knob on the front of the right speaker which makes adjusting the volume and sound very convenient. There is also a nice power button on the front of the speaker which you can use to power on or off. The satellite speakers are very well designed and have rubber feet at the bottom to prevent any vibrations while playing music at loud volumes. They look clean and sleek and have an solid black matt finish which makes them look really premium and high quality. They also come with the nice THX certification label at the top of the speaker. The subwoofer unit is rather large but produces excellent bass response; it supports RCA and 3.5mm audio inputs which you can use to connect directly to your computer. The speakers will need to be separately powered by an AC adapter which comes with the speakers.

The Logitech Z623s are easily some of the best computer speakers you can find that are highly value for money and are capable of delivering phenomenal home theater-like sound performance. They are truly value for money speakers that really give you the bang for the buck – the satellite speakers produce crisp highs, detailed midrange and very good theater-like sound that feels amazing to listen to. The bass response from the subwoofer is superb and hits hard; they even sound better than some of the higher end sound systems that we tested. The speakers produce a good deal of soundstage and music separation with detailed sound performance. Listening to music on these speakers is really a sublime experience, with vocal performances clearly defined and very crisp. Playing games with these speakers was also really fun and reproduces sound effects with distinct precision.
