The Verdict? The BYL soundbar is one of the best Bluetooth soundbars you can get if you are looking for a minimalist and compact setup. The 28” soundbar is equipped with dual 20W drivers that can deliver a combined total of 40 watts of sound. The sound quality that we got from the BYL soundbar was very clear, detailed and well defined with clear dialogues. Movie soundtracks sounded really clear and articulate with this soundbar; although it does not produce surround sound, it does have a pretty good soundstage and you can hear where each individual notes are coming from. The soundbar connects to your TV via RCA or optical inputs, and also has a 3.5mm audio input for non-wireless music sources. The Bluetooth connectivity on the BYL soundbar is really good – we did not experience any lag while streaming music and the quality of the sound was consistent throughout. It’s a relatively compact soundbar and can also double as a portable speaker if required.
