We did not experience any boomy sound or harshness in the treble ranges with the R1850D speakers – every note was accurately reproduced and undistorted. The Edifier speakers can also pump out very good volume and fill up a large room with filling sound without any distortion. Orchestra performances on the Edifier speakers sounded very realistic and cohesive; you can pick up details in the music which you might not have noticed before.
